Rubber Chemicals

Rubber Chemicals is a vital part of Rubber compounding. We offer a range of Rubber chemicals.

Filler-Carbon Black

Carbon black is a major reinforcing filler used in rubber compounds. It not only reduces the overall cost of the rubber compound, but also makes it more resistant to wear and tear. It is one of the major ingredients of any rubber compound and nearly one-fourth weight of a tire is carbon black. It is used in abundance. The rubber industry is heavily dependant on the availability of this filler. We offer various make and grades of Carbon Black. We offer both bulk bags as well as small packages. Some of the Brands available which includes Sid Richardson, Philip Carbon and Cabot

Curing Agents

These are one of the most important Rubber chemicals. They help in converting the rubber in its raw form into a more durable material by heating. They modify the polymer by forming inter-links between individual polymer chains. Some of the most common and available types of Curing Agents available with us include Sulphur, Peroxides and Metallic Oxides.

Accelerators

An accelerator is the chemical added into a rubber compound to increase the speed of vulcanization and to permit vulcanization to proceed at lower temperature and with greater efficiency. There are various available forms of Accelerator. We keep an array of accelerators to choose from, including MBT, MBTS etc.

Activators

Organic accelerators almost always need activators to achieve the highest efficiency in sulfur vulcanization. The most important activator is zinc oxide which is used in nearly every rubber compound. There are various types of activators we can supply. Some of the common ones available with us include Zinc Oxide and Stearic Acid.

Anti-degradants

It is the ingredient used in rubber compounding o slow down the ageing of the material and prevent it from oxidation. There are two types of anti-degradants mainly, antioxidants and antiozonants. While, an antioxidant is a molecule that inhibits the oxidation of other molecules, an antiozonant, prevents or retards the degradation of material caused by ozone. We offer various types of anti-degradants including TMQ, Phosphites, Amines.
