Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR)

SBR is derived from two monomers , styrene and butadiene. The mixture of these two monomers is polymerized by two processes: from solution (S-SBR) or as an emulsion (E-SBR). Being one of the most common and cheapest type of synthetic rubber, it is used in many of the same products as natural rubber. This form of Synthetic rubber is used in tyre and tyre products. SBR is also used in mechanical goods, automotive, miscellaneous, including adhesives, floor tile and shoe soles etc.
